Job summary

Home or Away LLC is seeking a dependable Personal Care Aide to support clients in their own homes, ensuring safety, comfort and dignity during daily activities. You will work one-on-one with clients and families as a vital part of the care team.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, health observation, meal prep, light housekeeping and documenting care activities. Prior experience in home care is preferred; CPR/First Aid certifications are required before start date.

• Safe Handling: Perform secure transfers and repositioning to ensure client comfort and safety.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Background: Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or memory care environments is preferred.


• Specialized Knowledge: Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities (Autism/IDD) is a plus.


• Compliance: A solid understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy standards.


• Credentials: Current CPR and First Aid certification is required (must be obtained prior to start date).
