Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Experience: Previous experience in home care, nursing home settings, or caregiving is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and understanding.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with members, and families
• A caring demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality personal care services.
• Be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and dependable transportation

Essential Functions

• Complete documentation as required
• Follow scheduling and tasks assigned by the staffing coordinator
• Assist members with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, housekeeping, and laundry and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of members.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for members, ensuring that all areas are tidy and free from hazards.
• Other tasks as assigned
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, and other staff.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
