Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred

• Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques
• Ability to work with individuals with disabilities with patience and understanding
• Strong communication skills to interact with members and families
• Be at least 18 years old and pass a background check
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance and dependable transportation

Responsibilities

• Complete documentation as required
• Follow scheduling and tasks assigned by the staffing coordinator
• Assist members with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of members
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for members, ensuring that all areas are tidy and free from hazards
• Other tasks as assigned
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and other staff
• Attention to detail: Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Stay up to date with Maltreatment Certification
