Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Experience: Previous experience in home care, nursing home settings, or caregiving is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and understanding
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with members and families
• A caring demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality personal care services
• Be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check

Essential Functions

• Complete documentation as required
• Follow scheduling and tasks assigned by the staffing coordinator
• Assist members with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of members
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for members, ensuring that all areas are tidy and free from hazards
• Other tasks as assigned
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and other staff
• Attention to Detail: Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Stay up to date with Maltreatment Certification
