Job summary

Spread Your Wings LLC is hiring Direct Care Staff in the Lake Forest and Mission Viejo areas. No experience needed; we will train. Driver's license required. Hourly rate is $19.50–$20.00, with benefits starting on day one.

Responsibilities include assisting clients, promoting hygiene and daily activities, and maintaining progress notes. Qualified candidates should be able to pass a background check and meet location requirements; positions available full-time and part-time.

Rate: $19.50-$20.00 per hour

The Direct Care Staff are responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive environment which ensures the quality living of our clients.

What you'll do:

• Assist, monitor, and teach individual(s) with preparation of daytime activities and encourage good personal hygiene and behavior appropriate in their home or apartment. These activities may include grocery shopping, menu planning, meal preparation, and clean up
• Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral challenges
• Help plan, create, and organize tasks and schedules that promote goal achievement for your clients
• Provide consistent documentation of progress through case notes

You'd be great if you:

• Experience working with individuals with behaviors IS A PLUS!
• Can problem solve and adapt to different client needs
• Are a strong communicator and dependable
• Are comfortable working independently in one-on-one settings
