Job summary

Visiting Angels is seeking In Home Aides (CNA or experienced caregiver) in Charleston County to provide one-on-one personal care and support to seniors, enabling independent living with dignity.

The role offers part-time shifts, days and weekends, with an emphasis on compassionate service, reliable transportation, and adherence to care plans. Training is provided, and a supportive team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable vehicle.
• Must adhere to plans of care for client.
• One year in-home caregiver preferred.
• Good communication skills and active listening.
• Calm in emergent situations and inform staff of changes.
• Pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Medication reminders.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions.
• Transportation to and from shops, pharmacy or appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping duties for the client.
• Be a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion.

Visiting Angels, America’s Choice in Homecare is seeking In Home Aides, both CNA’s and experienced caregivers in Charleston Counties. Visiting Angels is a national, private duty network of home care agencies and the nation's leading provider of non-medical senior home care services. Work part-time, days or weekends. Provides personal one-on-one care to the client. On-going need to fill this role.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required and current, up-to-date insurance

• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
• One year of in-home, caregiver experience preferred

• One year proven experience as a in-home caregiver (Preferred)
• Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as hoyer lift, wheelchairs, transfer bench, walker/training is available
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response, CPR preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

NO CNA LICENSE REQUIRED!
