Job summary

Bell Bank is seeking a Part-Time Personal Banking Specialist to provide essential support for personal banking, including account management and detailed teller functions, with accuracy and a high level of customer service. The role emphasizes educating customers on Bell Bank products and offering tailored financial solutions to meet needs.

The PBS will engage customers, process transactions, manage accounts, and identify cross-sell opportunities while maintaining security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• 2-4 years of customer service experience.
• 0-2 years in banking, financial, or a professional setting preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and Saturdays as scheduled.
• Flex PBS: be flexible with schedule and commute within a region.
• Part Time PBS: work a set minimum number of hours per week as determined by the branch.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional customer service by engaging with customers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Conducts professional meetings with current and prospective customers to assess financial needs and objectives.
• Opens and maintains personal and business accounts.
• Recommends and customizes solutions for customers based on financial goals.
• Identifies cross-selling opportunities to grow the bank’s portfolio.
• Meets individual and branch goals.
• Resolves customer inquiries with prompt, satisfactory resolutions.
• Manages overdrafts, collections, and technical account exceptions.
• Accurately processes simple and complex transactions and assists in handling complex transactions as needed.
• Escalates complex issues to senior staff when policies require.
