Job summary

Manasquan Bank is seeking a Universal Banker in Howell, NJ to deliver personalized banking services and open and manage customer accounts. You will assess needs, educate customers on products, and ensure high-quality service across daily transactions.

The role requires 2-3 years of direct customer service experience, preferably in banking, with teller experience and sales aptitude. Full-time schedule includes Saturdays and a 37.5-hour week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years experience in a direct customer service capacity, preferably in a banking environment.
• Prior experience in sales capacity preferred.
• Prior teller experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster a relationship banking environment by assessing customer needs and recommending bank products and services.
• Open new accounts and maintain existing accounts.
• Provide personalized banking services and expand customer satisfaction and retention.
• Resolve customer issues and inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
• Perform teller transactions and handle special requests following bank procedures.
• Ensure accuracy of cash handling and vault operations as required.
• Assist with loan applications and closings as needed.
• Travel within the branch network to ensure adequate coverage.
