Job summary

Citi in San Fernando, CA is seeking an entry-level Personal Banker SAFE Act to support sales, service, and customer relationship building with individual consumer clients.

You will assist in processing requests under $250K, cross-sell treasury products, and collaborate with tellers and staff to deliver a high-quality client experience. This full-time role offers competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities to grow within Consumer Sales.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies.
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant.

Responsibilities

• Work with business credit requests less than $250K, recognize/refer larger lending opportunities and cross sell treasury and related small business products.
• Build referral business opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the MGM Program.
• Assist in strategies to grow the small business client and implement appropriate sales plans.
• Deliver client services/outbound calls/inbound calls to acquire new relationships and deepen existing relationships.
• Provide Tellers and other branch staff with coaching and guidance on products and programs, identifying client needs and referrals.
• Understand and comply with Citibank policies, standards and procedures.
• Assess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup and assets, adhering to laws and regulations.
