Job summary

Citi in San Rafael, California, is seeking an entry-level Personal Banker under the SAFE Act. The role supports sales, products, and services in coordination with the customer service team to foster customer relationships and build loyalty.

As part of Citi's Consumer Sales/Branch Sales, you will identify lending opportunities under $250K, refer larger deals, and grow the Book of Business through referrals and cross-selling, while following policies and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant banking experience.
• Previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies.
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with lending opportunities under $250K and refer larger opportunities.
• Build referral business through COIs and the MGM program.
• Grow the small business client base with targeted sales plans.
• Deliver client services and cross-sell while ensuring a great client experience.
• Coach branch staff on products and refer to appropriate solutions.
