Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver excellent customer service, identify sales opportunities, and handle account transactions in a full-service banking center.

The role includes outbound calls for onboarding, prospecting new Retail customers, and promoting bank products; teamwork with the Banking Center Manager, compliance with policies, and community involvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of banking experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of cash handling, sales or customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Models the bank's mission, vision and pledge.
• Assess financial needs of clients and recommend suitable products.
• Consistently meets and exceeds defined sales goals for loans, deposits, and referrals.
• Promotes sales culture by selling bank products to reach goals.
• Communicates with branch staff to promote a team environment and coach others.
• Monitors performance against goals and adjusts sales promotions as needed.
• Executes outbound calling activities inside the banking center to promote products.
• Educates customers on financial wellness and available services.
• Sets priorities and follows through on sales and service activities.
• Promotes company products in the community to aid growth.
• Supports daily operations including cash handling, vault duties and compliance.
• Participates in regular sales and staff meetings; leads meetings as assigned.
• Provides service on banking matters and resolves issues professionally.
• Builds relationships with internal partners for feedback and collaboration.
• Maintains customer information securely and follows policy guidelines.
