Job summary

Amegy Bank, a division of Zions Bancorporation, seeks a Branch Relationship Banker (Personal Banker) for the Westlake (Austin, TX) branch. You will engage clients, uncover financial needs, and deliver solutions that strengthen relationships and drive revenue.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in banking, strong relationship-building and sales capabilities, and excellent communication. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of banking experience, preferably in personal banking or universal banker role.
• Experience in relationship-driven sales with ability to meet targets and cross-sell products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging clients and building trust.
• Knowledge of consumer lending processes and guidance through loan applications.
• Broad understanding of banking products including deposits, loans, credit cards, and investments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NMLS registration per SAFE Act.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales discovery and client relationship management by assessing financial needs and recommending tailored products.
• Build and manage client relationships through outbound outreach, in-branch engagement, and service support.
• Promote and cross-sell bank products, identify referral opportunities, and ensure follow-up.
• Open and service accounts, issue ATM cards, and originate/close consumer loans while addressing inquiries.
• Deliver sales-focused banking solutions to drive branch performance while ensuring excellent service.
• Identify business opportunities to support revenue growth while managing risk.
• Resolve client concerns promptly through direct resolution or escalation.
• Process teller transactions within authorized limits and support day-to-day branch operations.
• Maintain compliance with banking regulations and safeguard client information.
• Collaborate with branch leadership to track performance goals.
