Job summary

Amegy Bank’s Lakewood (Cypress, TX) branch is hiring a Branch Relationship Banker to engage clients, assess financial needs, and deliver tailored banking solutions. The role emphasizes relationship-building and revenue generation through thoughtful service and product recommendations in a fast-paced retail banking environment.

You will open accounts, issue cards, support consumer loans, and promote deposits, loans, and investment options while ensuring compliance and risk management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of banking experience preferred.
• Experience in relationship-driven sales.
• Ability to obtain NMLS registration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales discovery and manage client relationships through needs assessments and solutions.
• Build and manage relationships via outbound outreach, calls, and in-branch engagement.
• Promote products, cross-sell, and identify referral opportunities including lending.
• Open and service accounts, issue cards, and originate/close consumer loans.
• Deliver sales-focused banking solutions while ensuring excellent service.
• Identify opportunities to grow revenue while managing risk.
• Handle client concerns and resolve or escalate as needed.
• Process teller transactions and support day-to-day branch duties.
• Maintain compliance with banking regulations and safeguard information.
• Collaborate with leadership to track performance and support operations.
