Job summary

Peoples Security Bank & Trust Company is seeking a branch associate to deliver exceptional service to customers in person or virtually. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other transactions while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

You will support day-to-day branch operations, assist customers with accounts and financial products, and collaborate with the sales/service team to meet community needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience in customer service and relationship building is desired.
• Strong communication across channels (in-person, email, video, text) is important.

Responsibilities

• Processes various customer transactions (checks, deposits, withdrawals, payments, money orders, cashier’s checks, cash advances) efficiently, accurately, and compliantly.
• Balances cash drawer, night deposits, and ATM servicing; acts as back-up for vault-related duties.
• Adheres to bank policies and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
• Maintains strong knowledge of bank products and services and technology.
• Delivers exemplary customer service and researches questions across channels to resolve client concerns.
• Refers clients to appropriate partners for deposits, loans, cash management, merchant services, or wealth management.
