Job summary

Peoples Security Bank & Trust Company is seeking a Branch Associate to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support branch operations. You will handle day-to-day transactions, balance cash, and assist clients with deposits, loans, and cash management needs.

The role requires a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and strong communication; experience in banking operations and technology is a plus. This is an in-branch position focused on community service and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or General Banking Diploma preferred.
• Training in customer service, polite and effective communication practices, and relationship building needed.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional service to customers and prospects, in-person or virtually.
• Performs branch transactions accurately and compliantly (deposits, withdrawals, checks, etc.).
• Balances cash drawer, night deposits, ATM balances; back-up vault duties.
• Maintains policy compliance and keeps up-to-date with banking regulations.
• Provides information on bank products/services and refers clients to appropriate partners.
