What The Role Is

As a Personal Banker, you will provide best-in-class service by processing routine banking transactions while developing deep customer relationships and understanding their needs. You will identify and offer suitable personal and business financial products, educate customers on alternative channels, and assist clients with various needs in a universal banking model. This position is on-site.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Support transactional needs and identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships.
• Open and process consumer and small business deposit accounts, providing appropriate solutions.
• Work effectively in a team environment with regular customer interactions.
• Assist with simple consumer lending products such as personal loans and credit cards.
• Educate customers on online and mobile banking, interactive tellers, and ATMs.
• Meet or exceed sales/referral objectives as measured by scorecards.
• Handle cash and adhere to balancing procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of products, fees, policies, and current offers.
• Explore customer needs and recommend bank services, referring within or outside the branch as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and stay updated on changes.
• Participate in community activities and financial literacy initiatives to create positive community impact.

Who You Are

• Basic knowledge of sales and service techniques for consumers and small businesses.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability to nurture client relationships.

Education

• High school diploma required; college coursework preferred.

Experience

• Previous banking or sales experience preferred.
