What The Role Is

As a Personal Banker, you will provide best-in-class service by processing routine banking transactions while developing deep customer relationships and understanding their needs. You will identify and offer appropriate personal and business financial products, educate customers on alternative transaction channels, and assist clients with a variety of needs within a universal banking model.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Support transactional needs and identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships.
  • Open and process moderate to complex consumer and small business deposit accounts, providing solutions for managing cash flow.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, interacting frequently with teammates and customers.
  • Assist with simple consumer lending products, such as personal loans and credit cards.
  • Educate customers on bank channels including online and mobile banking, interactive tellers, and ATMs.
  • Meet or exceed sales and referral objectives as measured by scorecards.
  • Handle cash and adhere to balancing procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, fees, policies, and current offers to assist customers.
  • Explore customer needs and recommend bank services or refer customers to appropriate departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations and stay updated on regulatory changes.
  • Contribute positively to the community through CRA activities and financial literacy initiatives.
Who You Are
  • High school diploma required; college coursework preferred.
  • Previous banking or sales experience in related industries.
  • 1-year cash handling experience preferred; 2+ years for level II.
  • Basic knowledge of sales and service techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • No S.A.F.E. registration required at employment start.
  • Reliable attendance and team-oriented attitude.
