What The Role Is

As a Personal Banker, you will provide best-in-class service by processing routine banking transactions while also developing deep customer relationships and understanding their needs. You will identify and offer appropriate personal and business financial products, educate customers on transaction channels, and assist clients with various banking needs. This position is on-site.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Support transactional needs and identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships.
  • Open and process moderate to complex deposit accounts for consumers and small businesses, offering solutions for managing cash flow.
  • Work collaboratively with teammates and customers.
  • Limited origination of simple consumer lending products such as personal loans and credit cards.
  • Educate customers on online and mobile banking, interactive tellers, and ATMs for convenience.
  • Meet or exceed sales and referral objectives.
  • Handle cash and maintain proper balancing procedures.
  • Stay informed about products, fees, policies, and current offers to assist customers effectively.
  • Explore customer needs and recommend bank services, referring them within or outside the branch as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations and stay current on regulatory changes.
  • Participate in community and financial literacy initiatives to create a positive community impact.
Who You Are
  • Basic knowledge of sales and service techniques in a goal-oriented environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to solve problems and nurture client relationships.
Education
  • High school diploma required; college coursework preferred.
Experience
  • Previous banking or sales experience in related industries preferred.
  • 2+ years of cash handling experience preferred.
Characteristics
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Team player.
