Job summary

Fifth Third Bank seeks a Retail Personal Banker I in Winston-Salem, NC, to join a 4-8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service.

Selected candidates will certify at the end of the program to demonstrate skills for this role within the Retail Personal Banker family, focusing on new households and deepening relationships through consultative sales and excellent service.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or, combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell.
• Ability to analyze credit/financial information with advanced math functions.
• Professional appearance and strong verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products/services and recommend solutions.
• Proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for financial reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities.
• Collaborate with business partners to refer customers for holistic financial solutions.
• Meet or exceed customer experience and production goals.
