Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking an entry-level Personal Banker I in the Tampa/Lutz area. The program includes a 4-8 week onboarding with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, followed by a certification to demonstrate proficiency in the Retail Personal Banker role.

The role focuses on consultative selling, building customer profiles, and providing financial solutions. The position emphasizes cross-selling, partnership with various banking teams, and delivering a high-quality customer

Qualifications

College degree or work experience providing transferable skills.
Experience in the financial industry preferred.
Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire customers.
NMLS SAFE Act registration required.

Responsibilities

Use consultative sales process and needs assessment to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
Maintain knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the value proposition.
Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities (presentations, calls, events).
Collaborate with other partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) to provide holistic solutions.
Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals and contribute to revenue growth.
