Job summary

Columbia Bank in Napa, CA is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver exceptional client experience by following Breakthrough Client Experience Standards. You will acquire new clients and expand existing relationships by asking questions, offering products, and referring to partners as needed.

You will also identify consumer lending opportunities, handle cash accurately, open accounts, and support teller functions while building familiarity with business, consumer, and trust banking.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Teller or banking experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products/services.
• Ability and desire to develop consumer lending skills.
• Ability to handle cash, balance accounts/drawers, and perform calculations.
• Proficient in expanding client relationships and partnerships.
• NMLS licensing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent client service by acknowledging and offering appropriate products/services and responding to inquiries.
• Engage clients in client financial reviews to uncover needs and provide solutions.
• Make recommendations and follow through on commitments to clients.
• Maintain contact with clients and provide proactive solutions and problem resolutions.
• Open Consumer and Business accounts for existing and new clients.
• Assist Client Service Specialists and fill in on teller functions when needed.
• Support the branch in identifying and referring bank products to internal partners.
• Resolve client issues with strong follow-through.
• Build familiarity with business, consumer, and trust entities.
