WaFd Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to win new business and deepen consumer deposit and loan relationships while delivering exceptional service. You will build consultative client conversations, support branch operations, and promote digital self-service tools.

The role emphasizes relationship management and goal-oriented performance, with foundational WaFd certifications and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or approved equivalent.
• Business related college classes or degree preferred.
• Good math skills, 10-key and keyboarding, standard Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Teams, PowerBI and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Build banking relationships by opening accounts, discussing loans, and onboarding clients.
• Promote deposits and loan products through consultative conversations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting branch operations.
• Engage clients with digital and self-service options and refer to appropriate products.
• Navigate WaFd systems and contribute to growth of the client base.
