Job summary

WaFd Bank is seeking a Personal Banker in Olympia to win new business and deepen existing relationships by providing outstanding customer service and sales support. You will open accounts, discuss loan options, and onboard new clients while promoting WaFd digital self-service tools.

You will develop product knowledge and consultative sales skills, aiming to expand the bank’s consumer and small business client base. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Business classes or degree preferred
• Strong math, 10-key, and data entry skills
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and digital channels
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication abilities
• Able to learn WaFd systems and support client servicing and sales

• Win new business and build consumer deposit and loan relationships

• Open new accounts and refer or originate loans
