Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service handling cash receipts and payments in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and suggest bank products to support financial success.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Aim for monthly new account production targets set by management.
• Participate in in-store prospecting when needed.
• Process deposits and cash through bank procedures and balance daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts, and check endorsements.
• Examine cash for counterfeit items and proper ID.
• Enter transactions into computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services and assist diverse customer base including Spanish speakers.
• Perform other tasks per supervisor related to bank functions.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Approval limits based on authority levels.
