Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation is hiring Personal Bankers to build customer relationships and unlock financial solutions. You’ll learn UMB products, lead prospecting, and grow your loan pipeline with home equity, auto, personal loans, and mortgage referrals.

You should have a HS diploma, 2 years in retail banking sales, and the ability to obtain NMLS within 90 days. A college degree is preferred, and bilingualism is a bonus in our diverse branch network.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of retail banking sales experience or related experience.
• Ability to obtain NMLS registration within 90 days.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Convert customer interactions into opportunities to learn goals and offer solutions.
• Manage a loan pipeline with strong closing conversions for home equity, auto, personal, and mortgage referrals.
• Grow the customer base through networking, conversations, and proactive sourcing.
• Learn banking processes and ensure documentation meets standards.
• Rely on daily coaching to improve sales outcomes.
