Job summary

MidFirst Bank is seeking a Personal Banker Associate to function as both Teller and Personal Banker in a Houston area banking center. You will greet customers, process transactions, open deposit accounts, and promote financial products while meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year successful sales experience in an incentive-driven or relational selling environment.
• Minimum 6 months cash handling, processing of transactional payments, and/or point of sale experience in a retail sales or service environment and/or previous banking experience.
• Ability to generate referrals including making on-site visits with local businesses.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member and with customers.
• Strong work ethic and high integrity.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel etc.
• Friendly, outgoing, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic personality.
• Must have a current Notary or be willing to become one (pursue application, bond and notary seal) at the Bank’s expense

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and facilitate a welcoming and customer-focused environment
• Provide extraordinary customer service while achieving goals and supporting the banking center staff as needed
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to help identify financial products and services that meet their needs
• Promote financial products and services
• Open deposit accounts and take loan applications, process consumer loan/credit line requests for customers
• Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a balanced cash drawer and adhering to internal controls and procedures
• Generate new business and expand relationships with current customers through networking and Centers of Influence
• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns and create positive solutions
• Support other employees as needed
