Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Personal Assistant for The Barclay House at Aiken to support residents in assisted living and memory care with companionship and daily living activities.

You will report changes in residents' health, assist with memory programs, light housekeeping and dining, and help keep residents engaged and joyful. CNA preferred but not required; CPR/First Aid preferred; weekend/holiday shifts required.

Qualifications

• Must have caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current CNA certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
• CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Flexible and prepared to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Barclay House at Aiken

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
