Job summary

QSL Management's The Barclay at Santa Rosa Beach is seeking a Personal Assistant to support assisted living and memory care residents with companionship and daily living activities, including bathing, dressing and feeding as needed, while reporting health changes and recording progress daily. A caring heart and flexibility to work weekends and holidays are essential.

A High School Diploma or GED is required; CNA certification and CPR/First Aid are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
• CNA certification preferred but not required unless state requirement.
• CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports residents with companionship and activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.).
• Reports changes in health status and records progress daily.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership.
• Keeps residents engaged and happy through activities.

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Barclay at Santa Rosa Beach.

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
