Job summary

The Barclay at Santa Rosa Beach is seeking a Personal Assistant to support our assisted living residents with companionship and daily living activities. You will help with mobility, dressing, feeding, and activities to promote comfort and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include reporting health changes, supporting memory and performance programs, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining assistance as directed by leadership. Weekend/holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA preferred but not required unless state rules.
• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred.

• Supports residents with companionship and activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding).
• Reports changes in health/status and records progress daily.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining and helps keep residents engaged.

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Barclay at Santa Rosa Beach.

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
