Job summary

The Barclay at Santa Rosa Beach is seeking a caring Personal Assistant to support our assisted living and memory care residents with companionship and daily living activities, including dressing, bathing, and dining assistance.

You will report changes in health, record progress, assist with memory and performance programs, and help with light housekeeping and laundry to keep residents engaged and comfortable.

Qualifications

• Caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• CNA certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Experience with older adults preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and ADL support (bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.) for residents
• Report health changes and complete daily progress data sheets
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Assist with dining as needed and keep residents engaged and happy

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Barclay at Santa Rosa Beach.

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.


• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.


• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.


• Light housekeeping and laundry.


• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.


• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others


• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent


• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement


• CPR/First Aid, preferred


• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays


• Experience working with older adults preferred
