Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Personal Assistant for The Barclay at Santa Rosa Beach. The role involves supporting assisted living and memory care residents with companionship and daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding as needed.

The position requires a caring disposition, a High School Diploma or GED, and preferred CNA certification. CPR/First Aid is a plus, and availability for weekends and holidays is expected. Prior experience with older adults is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification preferred but not required unless state requirement.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and daily living assistance to residents.
• Report health changes and complete daily progress sheets.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with dining as directed by leadership team.
• Engage residents in activities to keep them happy.

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Barclay at Santa Rosa Beach.

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
