UCP Heartland in Riverview, MO is seeking compassionate and committed Personal Assistants (Direct Care Providers) for full-time shifts at $20.00/hour. The role emphasizes supporting people living with disabilities in a positive, team-driven environment, with Friday and Saturday 3 PM–11 PM and a set 16-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work weekends (at least one weekend shift per weekend).
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a care/customer service role.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, personal hygiene, and activities.
• Follow medical orders and administer medications.
• Assist with ADLs, lifts, and transfers.
• Complete shift documentation and basic housekeeping.
• Interact with families and offer client activities and community outings.
• Provide choices to clients for daily activities to improve engagement.

FRIDAY 3PM-11PM

SATURDAY 3PM-11PM

(THIS IS A SET 16 Hour Weekly SCHEDULE)

As a PERSONAL ASSISTNAT/DSP (Direct Care Provider)you will perform the following responsibilities:

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.
• Follow medical orders and administer medications.
• Assist with ADL's, Lift and Transfer (includes ceiling lifts, repositioning in wheelchair, etc), Adaptive Transportation.
• Shift documentation using Set-Works and general housekeeping.
• Will interact with family often. Please have a fun, outgoing and positive personality.
• Most importantly, provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings

Minimum Employment Requirements

• High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
• Valid Drivers’ license
• Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
• A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Computer Proficiency

THIS POSITION DOES REQUIRE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION, VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH CLEAN DRIVING RECORD!

THIS POSITION REQUIRES 5-7 DAYS OF MANDATORY TRAINING AT OUR CORPORATE OFFICE Monday through Friday 8:45 AM - 4:15 PM
