Job summary

UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate Residential Direct Care Professionals (DSP) for available shifts. The role pays $21.00 per hour and includes 25 hours weekly across specified shifts in Overland. Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks, following medical orders, and enabling client activities and outings.

Must have a HS diploma or GED, a valid license with clean driving record, and the ability to train 5–7 days at the corporate office. Weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in customer service preferred.
• Willingness to complete 5–7 days of mandatory training at corporate office.

Current Available Schedule

• OVERLAND
• THURSDAY 11PM-9AM (HB/F)
• SATURDAY 3PM-10PM (HB/F)
• SUNDAY 3PM-11PM (HC/F)
• (25 Hours Weekly)

As a DSP (Direct Care Provider)you will perform the following responsibilities:

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.
• Follow medical orders and administer medications.
• Most importantly, provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings.

Minimum Employment Requirements

• High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
• Valid Drivers’ license
• Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
• A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Computer Proficiency

THIS POSITION DOES REQUIRE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION, VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH CLEAN DRIVING RECORD!
