Job summary

QSL Management, located in Santa Rosa Beach, is seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to support our assisted living and memory care residents. The role includes providing companionship and assistance with daily living activities, reporting health changes, and engaging residents in activities. Ideal candidates are compassionate, flexible, and have experience working with older adults. This position offers a chance to make a significant difference in the lives of seniors in a supportive and caring work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent required.
• Current CNA certification preferred but not required unless state requirement.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship and assistance with daily living activities.
• Report changes in health and status of residents and complete daily data sheets.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Assist with dining as needed.
• Engage residents in activities to keep them happy.

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Barclay at Santa Rosa Beach

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
