Job summary

QSL Management seeks a Personal Assistant for The Barclay at Sarasota. You will provide companionship and daily living support to residents in a senior living environment, helping with bathing, dressing and meals while monitoring health changes.

Reporting daily progress and supporting memory and wellness programs, you will also handle light housekeeping and dining assistance, ensuring residents stay engaged and cared for in a safe setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• CNA certification preferred but not required unless state requirement.
• CPR/First Aid, preferred.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports residents with companionship and activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, etc).
• Reports health changes and records progress on daily data sheets.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
