Job description

RS Breakers & Controls is an Original Equipment Supplier offering the largest inventory of new, reconditioned, and used-tested electrical equipment in Canada. We specialize in life-extension solutions for multigenerational switchgear and power distribution systems, providing custom upgrades and turn-key solutions for aging electrical infrastructure. Our stock includes Molded Case Circuit Breakers, MCC Buckets, Motor Controls, Air Breakers, Panel Switches, Bus Plugs, Distribution Panel Boards, Transformers, and more. We have locations in Mississauga, Saskatoon, and Calgary.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support the President/Owner in managing their day-to-day schedule and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and plan the President's schedule, appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring smooth logistics.
  2. Organize the weekly schedule for the President.
  3. Anticipate conflicts and prioritize commitments effectively.
  4. Serve as the primary contact between the President and stakeholders.
  5. Draft, proofread, and monitor emails, reports, and correspondence.
  6. Prepare meeting agendas and follow-up documents.
  7. Coordinate travel arrangements domestically and internationally, including bookings and itineraries.
  8. Assist with projects and trade shows involving the President.
  9. Conduct research, create expense reports, and assist with budget planning.
  10. Support with dietary arrangements and hospitality needs.
  11. Occasionally work evenings or weekends for client meetings or events.
  12. Perform ad hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 5-10 years of experience supporting C-level executives in Canada.
  • Relevant certifications or training in administrative support are assets.
  • Valid Driver’s License is required.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and calendar management tools.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Willingness to travel within Canada.
  • Experience or interest in nutrition and health wellness is a plus.
