Job summary

Percheron, LLC seeks a Regulatory Specialist to support city, county, railroad, and Corps of Engineers permitting processes. You will ensure timely permit acquisition, interact with clients on language, compensation, and insurance, and coordinate with survey and drilling teams to keep projects compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent to a four-year degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relative experience.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledgeable about survey drawings, engineering drawings, and alignments sheets.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure permits are acquired correctly and promptly.
• Communicate with the client regarding agreement language, compensation, insurance requirements, bonds, and long lead items.
• Collaborate with permit agents, survey crew, drill crew, and recording crew to maximize efficiencies.
• Participate in permit project start-up meetings and ensure understanding of topics.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Research ownership for surface and/or minerals.
• Negotiate and acquire necessary surface and/or mineral permits for crew access.
• Work with project manager, project engineers, and surveyors to receive documents such as calculations and exhibits.
• Support surveying, drilling, and recording phases, ensuring permit stipulations are followed.
