Job summary

BRR Architecture is seeking a Permit Coordinator to gather information from authorities having jurisdiction and manage submittals for small projects. You will coordinate with the project team, clients, and consultants to keep permitting on track.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in professional services, permitting experience a plus, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A valid driver’s license is required and travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in professional services (architecture/engineering) preferred.
• Permitting experience is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather information from AHJ on permits and requirements for basic projects.
• Submit plans and permit applications to AHJ and monitor progress.
• Coordinate with project team and clients during permitting process.
• Prepare Code Comment Response letters and coordinate responses.
• Track approvals and coordinate contracts/fee proposals.
• Occasionally travel and lift up to 15 lbs.
