Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Entry-level secretarial, clerical, and computer experience in a professional work environment.
• Familiarity with AS400 software preferred.
• Must meet state certification requirements for permit technicians within 18 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Review permit applications and issuances.
• Calculate and collect fees pertinent to the Inspections Department.
• Schedule inspections and manage inspector workload.
• Direct release of final and temporary certificates of occupancy.
• Serve as a primary contact for contractors, developers, and the public.
