- Drive each home through the starts process to ensure readiness
- Maintain visibility on upcoming starts and communicate timelines clearly
- Identify risks early missing documents, agency delays, utility lead times
- Proactively solve issues to protect start dates
- Keep real‑time tracking so leadership always understands project status
- Follow up relentlessly with internal teams and external partners
What It Takes to Win Here
- Ownership mindset — you take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks
- Tenacity — you follow up until things get done
- Urgency — you move quickly and keep projects advancing
- Attention to detail — nothing slips through the cracks
- Strong communication — you can push issues forward with agencies and partners
- Organization — you can manage multiple projects without losing control
Why This Role Matters
At Schaefer Homes, timelines aren’t just schedules they represent families waiting to move into their homes. You’ll be trusted to own your lane, remove roadblocks, and keep projects moving forward. If you thrive on responsibility and take pride in getting things across the finish line, this is the kind of role where you can make a real impact.
