Job summary

Lone Star Transportation, based in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Permits Clerk to coordinate pilot car arrangements for oversize/overweight loads. You will collaborate with drivers, pilots, and internal teams to support travel planning and invoicing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; no related experience required.
• Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Pilot Car Coordination: collaborate with drivers and internal teams to arrange pilot car services for permitted loads.
• Service Arrangements: assist pilot car companies with information and arrangements needed for oversize and overweight loads.
• Invoice Processing: review, approve, and process pilot car invoices for payment.
• Document Verification: verify that required paperwork is accurate, complete, and submitted.
• Operational Support: perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
