Job summary

Liberty County Georgia Government is seeking a full-time Permit Technician to join the Building & Licensing team. You will assist customers with permits, licenses, and routine inquiries, greet visitors, process applications, and maintain records to keep the department running smoothly.

Responsibilities include entering data into permit software, issuing permits, collecting fees, coordinating with inspectors and utilities, and helping with notices about nuisance properties.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and answer phones; route calls and mail.
• Assist customers with completing applications for licenses and permits.
• Enter data into permit program; issue permits after approvals; collect fees.
