Job summary

Iron Oak Energy Solutions is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support day-to-day purchasing and supplier management across the Permian Basin region in West Texas. The role focuses on obtaining quotes, processing POs, coordinating deliveries, maintaining vendor data, and ensuring competitive pricing and quality.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced industrial environment while collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse/Receiving,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related field.
• College education preferred, Associate's or Bachelor's in SCM, Business, Procurement, or related field.
• Mining, industrial, manufacturing, oil and gas or heavy-industry experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP, purchasing, or purchase order systems preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience supporting RFQs, RFIs, RFPs, vendor onboarding, or supplier evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing activities with Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse/Receiving, and other departments.
• Review purchase requisitions for goods and services and ensure requirements are complete and accurate.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotes based on price, quality, availability, service, reliability, and delivery requirements.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and other purchasing agreements in accordance with company policies and authorization guidelines.
• Purchase materials, supplies, equipment, and consumable items at competitive prices while meeting quality and quantity requirements.
• Conduct and support RFQs, RFIs, and RFPs.
