Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory seeks a Program Leader to oversee two Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) programs in the Kansas City area. You will supervise staff, ensure program goals, budgets, and compliance with HUD requirements, and coordinate with partners to deliver housing and support services.

You will develop strategic plans, monitor performance, and lead cross-sector collaboration while maintaining alignment with funder expectations and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work; Master's Degree in Social Work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall implementation and execution of the two PSH programs.
• Develop and maintain program goals, work plans, performance metrics, and operational strategies.
• Ensure HUD funding requirements compliance and strong fiscal stewardship.
• Provide supervision of all program staff and volunteers; recruit and hire as needed.
• Coordinate with KCAC Housing Services Manager and external partners.
