SJRC Texas in Seguin/Gonzales seeks a Permanency Specialist to promote child well-being within the Permanency Program. You will manage a caseload of permanency cases, coordinate with CPS and other agencies, and support families toward stable permanency outcomes.

Travel is extensive; up to 95% of the work week. The role is hybrid, with collaboration across care providers, kinship families, and community partners to plan and execute permanency strategies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Child Welfare or related field.
• 60 accredited college credit hours + 2 years relevant experience.
• 90 accredited college credit hours + 1 year relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Travel up to 95% of the work week.
• Manage caseloads of Permanency placements.
• Assess placement, safety, and family needs.
• Plan for permanency and support caregivers.
• Coordinate with public and private agencies.
• Conduct case planning conferences and mandatory trainings.
• Ensure accurate case records and reporting.
• Provide 24-hour on-call support to families.
