Texans Together seeks a Permanency Supervisor to lead a team of Permanency Specialists delivering permanency, foster care, kinship, reunification, and family support services within the Texas CBC model.

You will supervise staff, manage workloads, ensure compliance with standards, and coordinate with DFPS, caregivers, courts, and providers to secure timely, trauma-informed services for children and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or closely related field; relevant experience considered in lieu of education
• Minimum three (3) years of child welfare experience
• Experience in foster care, permanency, conservatorship, reunification, kinship care, family preservation, or adoption services
• Minimum one (1) year supervisory, lead worker, or management experience
• Experience working within Texas CBC/DFPS/SSCCs/CPA

Responsabilités

• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to assigned case management and program staff
• Manage unit operations, caseload distribution, and staff workload
• Establish performance expectations, monitor staff performance, and promote accountability
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of qualified child welfare professionals
• Provide consultation and oversight for complex cases and critical decisions
• Ensure case planning and service delivery promote child safety, permanency, well-being, family engagement
• Ensure case documentation, assessments, service plans, and required activities are timely
• Promote trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices with family voice in decisions
• Monitor case practice, program performance, and outcome measures
• Ensure compliance with DFPS requirements, standards, contracts, policies
• Identify performance or compliance concerns and implement corrective actions
• Support Community-Based Care initiatives across the region
• Develop relationships with DFPS, courts, providers, caregivers and communities
• Represent Texans Together in court proceedings and stakeholder meetings
• Support community resources and placement options
• Participate in on-call coverage and emergencies
• Coordinate crisis response with partners
