Job summary

Texans Together seeks a Permanency Supervisor to lead a team of Permanency Specialists delivering permanency, foster care, kinship, reunification, and family support services within the CBC model in Texas.

You will supervise staff, manage caseloads and performance, ensure compliance with state standards, and collaborate with caregivers, courts, schools, and providers to secure timely and trauma-informed outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or closely related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of child welfare experience.
• Minimum one (1) year supervisory, lead worker, or management experience.
• Experience working within Texas CBC, DFPS, SSCCs, or CPA.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to assigned case management and program staff.
• Manage unit operations, caseload distribution, and staff workload.
• Establish performance expectations, monitor staff performance, and promote accountability and teamwork.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of staff.
• Coordinate crisis response and ensure timely notifications and documentation.
