Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Stocker - Perishables to support the Deli department in a fast-paced warehouse setting. You will stock, rotate, and face perishables while delivering prompt customer service to independent restaurants and caterers.

The role requires following HACCP guidelines, lifting heavy items, and collaborating with Hi-Lo operators to maintain a safe, stocked selling floor. Union environment, full/part-time options, and hourly shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Prompt, courteous customer service experience preferred.
• Stock, front-face, and rotate perishables on shelves.
• Follow HACCP regulations and safety practices.
• Able to lift and move heavy items and operate pallet jacks.
• Team-oriented and able to work in a union environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service.
• Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves, opens boxes, and restocks items.
• Organizes and front-faces items on shelves.
• Performs inspections to meet HACCP regulations.
• Reviews inventory for rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages.
• Ensures shelf pricing is accurate and up-to-date.
• Maintains warehouse cleanliness with regular scrubbing and pallet removal.
• Coordinates with Hi-Lo operators to keep the selling floor stocked and safe.
• Reports low stock or out-of-stock merchandise to supervisors.
