Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot in California is seeking a Stocker - Perishables in the Deli department. You will provide prompt customer service, stock shelves, and keep the workspace clean and safe in a busy warehouse environment.

You will inspect inventory for rotation to prevent shrinkage, ensure correct shelf pricing, and coordinate with Hi-Lo operators to maintain stock levels. Physical work includes long standing, exposure to cold temperatures, and lifting heavy items; adherence to HACCP

Qualifications

• Provides prompt, courteous customer service.
• Stock product on shelves and organize front-facing displays.
• Maintain HACCP-compliant practices.
• Review inventory for rotation to prevent shrinkage and damages.
• Ensure shelf pricing reflects current pricing.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety with regular cleaning routines.
• Coordinate with Hi-Lo operators to keep selling floor stocked and safe.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service.
• Removes boxes from pallets, stocks shelves, and opens boxes for restocking.
• Front faces items and keeps shelves organized and labeled.
• Inspects products to meet HACCP regulations.
• Monitors inventory rotation to minimize shrinkage.
• Keeps warehouse clean and safe; handles spills and trash promptly.
• Works with Hi-Lo operators to maintain stock levels on the selling floor.
• Reports low or out-of-stock merchandise to supervisors.
