Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Stocker - Perishables in the Deli department to support daily warehouse operations. The role emphasizes prompt customer service, stock replenishment, and safe, clean work areas on a 8- to 10-hour shift in a unionized environment.

Responsibilities include timely stocking, accurate shelf placement, HACCP adherence, and collaboration with the Deli Manager to maintain inventory and pricing integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service.
• Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves and re-stocks shelves by opening boxes.
• Organizes and front faces items on shelves.
• Performs HACCP inspections to meet regulations.
• Assists in inventory review for rotation to prevent shrinkage and damages.
• Ensures shelf pricing reflects the latest prices.
• Maintains warehouse cleanliness with regular maintenance and removing debris.
• Coordinates with Hi-Lo operators to keep selling floor stocked and safe.
• Notifies supervisors of low stock/out-of-stock merchandise.
